Form 4 students paired up to read aloud to each other, and develop a love of English reading. Low-level books for primary grades 2 to 4 were used to ensure low frustration and high enjoyment. 🙂
Another lovely NET Café, hosted at 42nd Davis in Kennedy Town. Big thanks to all the friends old and new who attended!
So many great submissions! A BIG thank you to all the schools and students that took part in this wonderful competition.
With Chinese New Year just around the corner, what better way to celebrate than another NESTA Quiz Night? NETs came and got their brain trivia picked for another evening of laughs!
On 12 January 2018, the NESTA Executive gathered at the Sai Ying Pun Conference room to attend the first NESTA GM of 2018! Many topics were discussed and voted on by the members in attendance. Thank you to all who came out! 🙂
In January, the EDB held a workshop on puppetry. Attendees were all able to make their own puppets and practice performing with them. Later, some attendees’ students used simple paper puppets to bring to life a short drama in class! Very exciting stuff! 🙂
Wow, we had a great Christmas Dinner! 🙂 NESTA arranged a special booking at a local restaurant that provided all the turkey, stuffing, and Brussels sprouts we could devour! Many Christmas carols and much mulled wine later, the NETs were off with sugar plum fairies dancing in their heads. See you next year!
NESTA came together for a good cause on our Charity Quiz Night. After expenses, we easily managed to raise just over a thousand dollars, $1,084 to be exact, and we donated this amount to 2 charities: 1) Bring Me A Book HK Ltd 2) Orbis Join us for our next Charity Quiz Night in April […]
We fight for you!
