In August 2022, 10 singers from 5 local schools joined together for an English Karaoke Challenge. The NESTA Chairperson and NESTA Treasurer joined other NESTA Members and volunteered as Commentators for the event. NESTA was proud to have helped organize and participate in this challenge as a way to support and encourage using English in an authentic environment.
The music and singing were excellent and the performances were top notch! It takes a lot of courage to sing and perform in front of a group of strangers, so these young learners have shown they will have a very bright future. Well done to them all.
