The theme of this year’s NESTA professional development workshop is “Flexing in the Classroom: Brain-based and Technology Tools for Teachers.” Dr Anson Chen, Managing Director and Principal Trainer of Institute of Brain and Mind Education (IBME) will offer some brain-based strategies and practices to improve teaching effectiveness. This will be followed by a presentation by an Apple Education Trainer who will provide fun ideas to design iPad activities to develop students’ skills to communicate ideas through video and drawing.
